The department of Blue Economy will be hosting a Blue Economy quiz competition in July 2023 in commemoration of Blue Economy Day 2023.

The Blue Economy quiz will cover several topics, including fisheries, aquaculture, marine conservation, tourism, renewable energy, maritime transport, among others.

It will be a great opportunity for participants to test their knowledge and learn more about this exciting and rapidly growing field.

To register for the quiz, interested individuals are required to email their names and other details to Elna Etienne at elna.etienne@gov.sc or by calling 4672300. The deadline to register is May 30, 2023. The final of the quiz will be held on July 3 and aired/broadcasted on July 17 on Blue Economy Day itself. There will be 1-2 rounds of elimination before the final 3 are chosen for the final on July 3. The quiz is open ONLY to Seychellois aged 18+. The prizes to be won are as follows:

1^st Prize: Blue Economy Day Champion
